Project Manager/Producer

This is not a video or post-production role.

The interactive producer is responsible for the management and delivery of small- to mid-scale campaign-related digital project work, as well as website design and development projects. The interactive producer ensures that the entire project team is poised to meet the objectives and goals of each project on time and on budget.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing creative and interactive projects from discovery and design to technical development and implementation. The ability to draft and manage production schedules and scope production resource and vendor requirements is a must. Experience in an agency environment is key. This position will work on a mix of both internal and external projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the project plan and work with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans
  • Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as scoped
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, assets and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables and dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
  • Consistently identify needs that other internal teams may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
  • Manage expectations, ensure delivery of the highest-quality service and solicit and act on client feedback
  • Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with project team leads to present work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in a project management or digital production role
  • Website production experience is required
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies
  • Competencies in related project management software and common communications tools required
  • Experience with UX design and a strong understanding of web development, technologies and third-party applications and platforms
