McGarrah Jessee’s search marketing team is expanding. We are searching for an experienced individual to drive the success of our clients through successful pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at least 1–3 years of prior search marketing experience, be data-driven and have proven success managing numerous search engine marketing campaigns. This role will report to and work closely with the search supervisor and perform the day-to-day management of paid search campaigns for our clients. You will become part of a kick-ass team of media experts who truly love their jobs, their company and their clients.

As part of McJ’s search marketing team, you will create new campaigns, conduct bid management and optimization, prepare reports and develop landing pages and keyword copy in support of our clients’ goals. Confidence, accountability and action-oriented attitude and habits are keys to success.

 Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of clients’ paid search marketing campaigns. This includes managing the execution of search marketing strategies, as well as ongoing budget management and campaign optimizations
  • Track, monitor and report on campaign results and data analysis and deliver monthly reports outlining and analyzing historical campaign data
  • Ensure that campaigns are delivering against all KPIs
  • Set and update budget caps ensuring accounts are pacing properly based on predetermined spend
  • Build new campaign expansions, including but not limited to: keyword research, landing page development and ad copy creation
  • A/B split test ads and landing pages
  • Proactively provide strategic recommendations applicable to a client’s business model and goals
  • Influence the design and development of paid search creative based on campaign objectives and KPIs
  • Report on campaign performance to search supervisor and provide high-level updates weekly
  • Work with larger McJ teams to find opportunities to grow client accounts
  • Maintain and build industry insight and expertise. Monitor industry changes and developments and regularly post to McJ Trending Now Facebook group

 Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience managing accounts and clients simultaneously
  • Experience working with Google AdWords and Bing Ads as well as both platform editors, Google Analytics and MS Office
  • Experience managing monthly budgets over $75K/month
  • Ability to make decisions regarding campaign direction and identifying growth opportunities
  • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certification a plus
  • Experience with Google Shopping, Remarketing or Dynamic campaigns a plus
  • An ambitious self-starter with a results-driven mindset, a positive attitude and high work standards
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and a genuine interest in making continuous improvements to campaigns based on ongoing data analysis
  • Adwords Scripts and SEO experience is a huge asset
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well with others
